Here we go again: Some of you were glad I dropped the idea of “gimbos” – the concept of gothic bimbos, because you felt that there were no existing girls out there to whom my concept of a gimbo would apply, who could hold a candle to the pristine bimbo queens we are usually talking about here on the PBA – and you know what? You are right. There is no “Candy Charms of goth girls” out there. True. Sure, we talked about some girls who “tackle” the gimbo ideals, but none of them brought it home yet. I know that. That was more or less the reason why I stopped the whole gimbo series, why I was no longer interested in the whole topic and why I didn’t care anymore. That – and because of the frustration, that my gimbo ideals, the idea, the concept and my definition were always (deliberately?) misunderstood, misinterpreted, falsely applied, twisted and distorted to make them more “convenient” or completely thrown out of the window. You can not imagine my frustration. But… wait… I was talking about my “gimbo definition”… did I even ever come up with something like that?……..Uhh……….. okay….. I didn’t. I was vaguely talking about different standards and options for gothic bimbos, but I never truly hammered home what I was thinking of. Was that the whole mistake? The reason for all the frustration? Maybe not, but it is absolutely the reason for me to come up with a clear definition NOW. Actually… I lied… That is not the real reason. It is an excuse for me. The real reason is, I promised it to one of my most beloved and most faithful supporters (thank you so much again!), and the dutiful, caring moderator of the gimbo channel on the PBA Discord. So, little Succubus, this is for you. We are all having hard times at the moment – and some even more than others, so I am happy if I can bring some joy to you with an article some people were wishing for, including the doll that may become the very first TRUE gimbo (the Candy Charms of gothic), like she plans, who convinced me to give the gimbo idea another chance, even if no other goth girl cares if I continue with the whole concept or not. Prove me wrong and come forward, gimbos – show me she was right and doesn’t stand alone!
The most important thing in the beginning: Please make sure you read these CRUCIAL articles beforehand, because everything regarding the gimbo concept is based on the elements we describe in these posts:

Gimbos – Introduction to gimbos
Are you ready? Let us begin with the text book gimbo definition and the main rule for gimbos afterwards:
“A gimbo undergoes the same process of bimbofication as a normal bimbo – with the same goals, the same techniques, the same methods, the same rules and the same tools. Therefore, a gimbo is also a stylized, enhanced, idealized, ultra feminine girl or woman – explicit, female, with the same defining features as a bimbo, but with a shift in stylistic devices in the direction of alternative sub cultures (like Gothic, Pin up, Rockabilly, etc.) but ALWAYS under the strict ruleset of the common bimbo laws and the general understanding of ultra femininity! A gimbo is a bimbo FIRST – a goth SECOND! This means, that a gothic bimbo has access to other styling options and color palettes, that replace the usual bimbo style – as long as these options are compatible with the laws of hyperfemininity. In addition, there are some slight differences possible, regarding all three pillars of bimbofication, that will be dealt with in separate rules. Like a bimbo, a gimbo complies to traditional, social perceptions of femininity in word, action and deed, going after defined goals in all involved aspects, striving for perfection. Furthermore: A gimbo has to be a real, living female and can never be a fictional or roleplayed character.”
Now, having that out of the way, let us talk about the main and most important rule for gimbos, that was included in the definition above already, which should make most of the “misunderstandings” and “misconceptions” regarding the gimbo idea that arose until now impossible from the getgo:
“A gimbo is a bimbo FIRST – and a goth SECOND!”
This, in a nutshell, already tells you everything you need to know about the general relationship between a gimbo and her gothic subculture on the one hand and the bimbo subculture on the other hand! Why is this so important? Well, NOT having this rule in place, and without a proper definition, the “gimbo idea” was basically out there in the wild, free to be interpreted by everyone to their needs, comforts and sheer arbitrariness. THIS ENDS NOW! Up to this point, the gimbo idea allowed everyone and their grandmothers to ditch and include all sorts of elements they did or did not like, taking the “alternative bimbo idea” too far and wrong, coming up with versions of “a gimbo” that have nothing in common with the original idea. Fat gimbos? Check! Gimbos with rainbow colored hair with undercut? Check! Gimbos with more metal in their faces than what would be needed to construct a Leopard 2A7V Main Battle Tank? Check! Gimbos with their bodies completely covered in tattoos (admitted: This also is a problem in the bimbo community…)? Check! Gimbos wearing torn, shredded stockings and pantyhoses? Check! Gimbos wearing chunky shoes, brutal, primitive styles, horror make up, behaving in masculine ways? Check!!! – All of this has no place in the TRUE gimbo concept! A gimbo is exactly what it means: A GOTHIC BIMBO, following the SAME rules as “normal bimbos” (apart from minor differences), striving for the same goals – but with a certain shift in style and tone. But what does this exactly mean?
1. The rules and the exceptions
We already stated, that gimbos in general have to follow the same rules as normal bimbos, but we also mentioned “minor differences or exceptions”. Basically, there are three different law-systems in place, that define the do’s and don’ts of bimbos and gimbos alike:
a) The understandings of hyperfemininity
This basic category unites the expectations society has regarding femininity, the preferences males have regarding females, traditions of femininity and general understandings of concepts like “femininity” itself, beauty, aesthetics and sex appeal – and consistently brings them to the logical conclusions. Many of the rules for bimbos are derived from common concepts of femininity and the impirical data we can recover from scientific studies, surveys and conserved history of society and perceived feminine beauty ideals. In most articles I always try to deliver you an overview of these things, explaining why and in which ways certain aspects are regarded as beautiful, sexy or especially feminine. Why are high heels important? There is a reason for that! Why is make up a thing? There is a reason for that! Why is blond hair preferable? There is a reason for that. The derived logical conclusions often result in dedicated, precise PBA bimbo rules (the next thing we will talk about), however, the broader picture, these social expectations on female behaviour, style, look and grace or cuteness as well as common ideas of sex appeal and beauty create the most basic rule set for bimbos and gimbos alike. No bimbo or gimbo is ever allowed to willingly violate the “basic understandings of femininity”! Even further – like a bimbo, a gimbo is bound to the rules of hyperfemininity, which means that she has to follow the expected aspect of femininity turned up to the upmost level – even if it might “violate” special traditions of her subculutre (f.e. shredded stockings)! This makes clear, that already no such things as “fucked up punk attires” are allowed for gimbos, because it is absolutely reasonable to assume that such things would never be called “sexy”, “beautiful”, “elegant” or “especially feminine” by most members of society. Exactly the opposite should happen: A gimbo should strive for the assumed MOST “sexy”, “beautiful”, “elegant” and “especially feminine” styles – which would be the beforementioned strive for hyper femininity. Following these basic assumptions, it is made sure that a gimbo meets the basic necessary expectations, even if no PBA rules are broken. And these rules are the next thing we will talk about:
b) The PBA rules or – concrete, defined bimbofication
The PBA rules are more or less concrete, specific and mandatory rules for bimbofication as a whole. We covered already many things most people would consider absolutely crucial and vital for bimbos and the bimbo definition and of upmost importance for the process of bimbofication. This is the point where bimbofication emerges from “simple hyperfemininity”, becoming something far bigger and even independent – although nearly all rules are derived from the understanding of hyper femininity and the same logical assumptions. The difference however is, that while the concept of hyper femininity is more or less a vague direction – PBA rules of bimbofication are set in stone, crystal clear and binding. Bimbos have to follow this set of rules – and gimbos have to do that too! No “subculture tradition” and no “gothic identity feature” stands above these ideals. Does a gimbo has to have huge, breast implants letting her tits appear bigger than her head? Absolutely! Is a gimbo allowed to wear pantyhoses or even pants? No – NEVER! Should a gimbo ever wear flat shoes? Absolutely not – instead, a gimbo should wear gimbo suitable, sky high stiletto boots (there comes the “shift in style” according to the subculture into play) or stripper heels – and no, a gimbo is also never “truly naked”. These are only some of the rules – but exactly like a bimbo, a gimbo has to follow them all… except for, maybe some exceptions?
c) Gimbo rules and exceptions
Yes, there may be exceptions. But DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT COMING UP WITH YOUR OWN EXCEPTIONS! I set this straight, once and for all: IF there is an exceptions for gimbos in a certain rule, it WILL be unmistakably communicated in that lesson! If no such clear exception or special rule is to be found in a lesson or a PBA law – there is none and the gimbo has to follow the rule exactly like a bimbo would. Such things did already happen, like a special note that made clear that, while there is basically no other real option for a bimbo than to have blond hair – raven black hair might indeed be a valid possibility for a gimbo (although blond hair is recommended). Like exceptions, there might also be special rules for gimbos alone – rules bimbos do not have to follow and vice versa. But remember: These things will always be made clear – NO self-initiative is needed or wanted!
2. The goals- The ideal gimbo
So, how does the ideal gimbo look like? How does she behave? What are the differences compared to an ideal bimbo? If you followed the PBA, you know that bimbofication is the strive for bimbo perfection in three different pillars. And you know that EVERY single detail matters! Gimbos follow the same goal, as we already stated in our definition, but with that shift in style and maybe some differences. A possible gimbo could be like this: A hyper feminine goddess, perfect in feminine style, beauty, sex appeal and behaviour – a perfect doll with pristine, long hair, reaching down to her perfectly shaped ass, supported with extensions and elaborate, Victorian era hairstyles. The make up of this doll is nothing less than a piece of art: Elegant, wicked, perfectly done, following all the PBA rules of make up, with outstanding smokey eyes and glossy, wet looking, black lipstick. Her nose is artificially optimized, her lips are big and puffy, her eyebrows thin lines of perfectly drawn eyeliner. Not a single pore and no blemishes are visible on her pristine skin and her aristorcratic look is strenghtened with sparkling silver jewelry, gemmed with black stones and crested with entwined ornaments. Her necklace falls into the extremely deep cleavage, produced by her massive, enhanced tits, perfect in shape, size and form, pressed together by a tight, Victorian corset. Her body shape is utter perfection, formed like an hourglass, but with not an ounce of unneeded body fat, but instead forged in the gym, by diet, corset training and surgical enhancements. The black skirt made of fine lace she is wearing, is extremely short in the front, granting everyone a good look at her semi-transparent underwear and of course, her shiny, glossy, sheer lace stockings. Her long, sexy legs in those pristine stockings are something she showcases equally proud like her enormous tits, sitting, standing or moving always in a way that is suitable for a princess of the night, bringing Dita von Teese to shame, full of elegance and grace. Of course, this mixture of a dark angel, a queen of the damend and a wicked porn character always wears sky high stiletto heels, like black, knee high boots made of patent leather. She follows all the rules of bimbofication and the general ideals of hyper femininity. She behaves like a perfect porn character, but in an elegant graceful way. Sure, she might read Edgar Allan Poe, she might listen to dark music, but her mindset and her character are nothing but delightful beacons of enjoyable femininity. She is THE queen of the night, a female gothic dream that has come true, a worthy, dark sister of the most perfect bimbo rolemodels, a true pornstar with the emanation of an aristocrat of your darkest desires, the vampire countess you thought couldn’t exist – a true gothic bimbo – A TRUE GIMBO!
I like the idea of being a gimbo because I don’t look good in pink clothing. Has to do with My complexion. So being a gimbo is just 2nd nature for Me!
